75-minute initial visit · $250 provisional
Initial Pelvic Floor EMG Biofeedback Assessment
A structured, unhurried visit to measure how your pelvic floor muscles rest, contract and coordinate — followed by a written clinical report.
How it works
We use the Pathway MR-20 dual-channel surface EMG system. Surface sensors are placed on the skin to record muscle activity. In some cases an internal sensor may provide more useful information — we explain the reasons, alternatives and what it involves, and you decide.
Informed consent is part of every visit. You can ask questions, pause or stop at any time.
What a sample report may describe
Resting activity
How well muscles settle at rest.
Endurance
How activity is sustained over a held contraction.
Coordination
Timing of contraction and relaxation.
Simulated straining
Muscle response during a gentle bearing-down task.
Reports describe general measurement patterns, not specific diagnoses. Price is provisional and subject to confirmation.
